Cargill, esq. banker.-At Dunrobin Castle, July 19, his Grace George Duke of Sutherland, Marquis of Stafford, &c. aged 75. In 1785 his Grace married the Right Hon. Elizabeth. countess of Sutherland, Baroness Strathnaver, &c. the representative of the oldest earldom in Scotland. On the day of the funeral about 8000 people, from all parts of the family estates, and neighbourhood, assembled around the castle, and were regaled with 7000 loaves, 14 fat bullocks, and a great number of sheep, together with 30 hogsheads of ale.
