SIGNING OF ENROLLED ACT.

The chairman of the House Enrollment Committee was announced with an enrolled act for the signature of the president of the Senate.

Thereupon Mr. President gave notice that he was about to sign:

No. 78, House-"An act making appropriations to pay the salaries and contingent expenses of state officers and their deputies and boards; for contingent expenses of Fish Hatchery Districts Nos. 1 and 2, and the branch fish hatchery at Sundance; for contingent and other necessary expenses of duly organized military organizations; for the support and maintenance of state charitable and penal institutions; for paying land office fees incident to the selection of state lands; for contingent expenses of the board of live stock commissioners including inspection; for expense of committee platting, appraising and selling state lands; for printing biennial reports of the auditor, treasurer and secretary of state and state engineer; for measuring state printing; for insurance premium on state libraries; for per diem of members of the state mining board; to pay expense of state board of health and per diem of its secretary; for the relief of Chaplin, Spafford and Mathison; for the payment of certificate of indebtedness No. 144; for the relief of Charles Swanson; for the relief of J. F. Hodge; for the relief of Edward Carlson; for the relief of James Bertram; for the relief of Peter Swanson; for the relief of T. B. Anderson; for the relief of W. Moffat; for the relief of Joseph Payne, Sr.; for the relief of John Workman; for the relief of the Evanston Opera House Company; for the relief of H. W. Nichols; for the relief of Mrs. Helen Kidd; for the relief of Meyer Frank; for the relief of Henry Franklin; for the relief of the S. A. Bristol Company; for the relief of the Tribune Publishing Company; for the relief of C. B. Ridgeway; for the relief of F. W. Lee: for the relief of J. O. Churchill; for the relief of Gertrude Wyoming Dobbins; for the relief of Thomas D. Bebb; for the payment of return transoprtation for the insane; for the reimbursement of the state land board; for an emergency fund for the purpose of pursuing and apprehending criminals and to suppress any tumult or riot; for the reimbursement of R. C. Cushing; for the relief of Virgil S. Grout; for the relief of C. H. Hutton; and to pay for the printing of the journals of the Sixth State Legislature; for the returning of notary public fees in cases when notary was unable to qualify; for court expenses when the state is a party; for an assistant state librarian."

And thereupon Mr. President did, in the presence of the Senate, affix his official signature to said H. E. A. No. 78.

On motion of Mr. Thomas a committee was appointed to wait upon His Excellency, the Governor, and inform him that this Senate is about to adjourn sine die, and to inquire whether His Excellency have any further communications to make to this body.

Mr. President appointed as such committee Messrs. Thomas, Brittain and Osmond.

Mr. Sullivan moved that a vote of thanks be extended to the people of Cheyenne for the many courtesies extended to the members of the Sixth State Legislature.

The motion prevailed by a rising vote of all the members present, and on motion the chief clerk was instructed to spread this vote upon the journal.

The committee appointed to wait upon the governor reported that they had waited upon His Excellency, and had been informed that he had no further communications to make but desired at this time to express his appreciation of the consideration shown him by the members of the Sixth State Legislature in the discharge of their official duties.

ELECTION OF A PRESIDENT AD INTERIM.

Mr. Davis nominated Hon. Chas. A. Guernsey, senator from Laramie county, to be president ad interim of the Senate. There being no further nominations, Mr. Guernsey was declared elected by unanimous vote.

On motion of Mr. Iredale a committee was appointed to wait upon the chief justice or some other competent officer and request his presence in the Senate to administer the oath of office to Hon. Chas. A. Guernsey, president ad interim-elect.

Mr. President appointed as such committee Messrs. Iredale, Davis and McBride, who retired and soon returned with Hon. Robert W. Breckons, a notary public, who thereupon administered the oath of office to Hon. Chas. A. Guernsey, president ad interim of the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Iredale the chief clerk was directed to inform the House that the Senate has concluded all business before this body for consideration, and is now ready to adjourn sine die.

Sir: I have the honor to inform your honorable body that the House of Representatives of the Sixth State Legis

lature of the State of Wyoming has concluded its labors and is now ready to adjourn sine die.

The journal of this day was read and approved.

Mr. Guernsey moved that the Senate do now adjourn sine die, which motion prevailed and Mr. President thereupon de clared the Senate of the Sixth State Legislature of the State of Wyoming adjourned without day.
