Black African Literature in English, 1991-2001: Critical Appreciation and ReceptionMkuki na Nyota Publishers, 2007 - 236 страници The English Association, based at the University of Leicester in the UK, aims to further knowledge and enjoyment of the English language and literature, and to foster good practice in its teaching and learning at all levels. They produce an annual review, The Year's Work in English, published by Oxford University Press, a narrative bibliographical review of scholarly work on the English language and literatures, including on new literatures in English. This book brings together eleven contributions contemporary black African literature in English, 1991-2001. Some 120 books and over 300 scholarly and bibliographical essays from journals and periodicals are reviewed. |
