The folemnization of marriage is forbidden from the first Sunday in Advent till after the Epiphany and from Afh Wednesday till after Low Sunday: and to marry within the fourth degree of kindred; likewise the God-father and God-mother with the child, or with its parents.

Believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jufus Chrift his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghoft, born of the Virgin Mary, fuffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; he defcended into hell, the third day he rofe again from the dead, he afcended into heaven, and fits at the Right Hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence he fhall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghoft, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of fins, the refurrection of the body, and life everlafting. Amen.

UR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven: Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trefpaffes as we forgive them that trefpass against us, and lead us not into tempation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Precepts of Charity.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, with thy whole foul, and with al thy mind.

Thou fhalt love thy neighbour as thy felf.

The Precepts of the Church.

1. To keep holy the appointed feftival days of the church, in abstaining from fervile works, and hearing mass.

2. To faft lent, ember-days, and Vigils, and on Fridays and Saturdays to abftain from flefh. 3. To confefs your fins to your paftor at least once a year: To receive the holy eucharift at eafter, between Palm-Sunday and Low-Sunday.

4. Not to folemnize marriage at times forbidden by the church: Nor within certain degrees of kindred; nor privately without witness.

The Spiritual Works of Mercy. 1. To teach the ignorant. 2. To correct the finner. 3. To counfel the doubtful. 4. To comfort the afflicted. 5. Patiently to fuffer injuries. 6. To pardon offences.

7. To pray for the living and the dead, and thy perfecutors.

The Corporal Works of Mercy.

1. To feed the hungry.

2. To give drink to the thirsty.
