She has wrought a good work upon me for the poor you have always with you: and when you will, you may do them good: but me you have not always. That which fhe had, The has done; fhe has prevented the anointing of my body for burial. And he said to them, my foul is forrowful even to death: Stay here, and watch. And when he was gone forward a little, he fell flat on the ground; And he prayed, that if it might be, the hour might pafs from him. And he said, Abba, Father, all things are poffible to thee, transfer this chalice from me; but not that which I will, but that which thou wilt. And he comes, and finds them fleeping. And he faid to Peter Simon, fleepeft thou? Coul'st thou not watch one hour? watch, and pray, that you enter not into temptation. The fpirit indeed is ready, but the flesh infirm.
