Pomeroy, 1820-1827, with 1134 engraved illustrations and 72 original autographs inlaid on leaves of heavy weight, with numerous tiny steel engravings of a decorative nature superimposed on the blank spaces of existing pages. All signers are represented by original autographs except Samuel Adams and Button Gwinett. Adams' autograph was laid in by Benjamin but is now missing. Gwinett is represented by two lines of authentic handwriting. |
