Sermons by My Brother Rev Russell Thompson

This book contains eighteen sermons prepared and delivered to my brother's congregation at the Whiteford Baptist Church in Lexington, South Carolina, during the past year. They are unique in his ability to relate everyday life to passages in the Bible. For this reason I felt that they were inspirational. My brother is sincere, honest, and humble in his calling to serve God, Jesus, and the Bible. He hopes that this book will serve God and Jesus and be an inspiration to others to do the same. Over the past thirty years Rev. Russ has served churches in three states in administrative and lay ministry capacities. He is now Senior Pastor and chief Administrative Officer of Whiteford Baptist Church. Prior to becoming Pastor, Rev. Russ served as Administrator, Executive Assistant, and Associate to E. Wayne Wall, D.Th., D.Div. His first career was in radio and television broadcasting. He worked as an on-the-air personality, program director, and consultant to a chain of radio stations. He was named by Billboard Magazine as the top radio personality in America in medium size markets. Russell's second career was in the financial services industry. He held designations as a Registered Financial Consultant, and as a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow. His third career is his calling to serve Jesus.
