Canada, taken by the Seaford; the by the Anfon privateer, and fent to Venus from St. Domingo for Bour- Bristol. deaux for Dublin, taken by the Sheernefs; the Tryton, and the St. Mare, both from St. Domingo for Bourdeaux, fent into Plymouth. Ten Dutch Hoys, and a hip bound for France, brought into the Downs by the Maryland Planter. L'Amiable Katherine, from Martinico for Marfeilles, taken by the Winchester, and carried into Antigua. The Bien Aime from Martinico for Marseilles, taken by the Yarmouth; and the Helena Olympa from San Domingo for Havre, taken by the Falmouth, Eagle, and Harwich, fent to Plymouth. A French fnow from Leogan for Lou fenburgh, loaded with coffee and fugar, taken by the Wealel floop off Crooked ifland. The Mars from Africa for the French inland, with 700 prime flaves, and another veffel with 280, ate taken and carried into Jamaica. A French veffel, loaded wite iron, fent into Guernsey, by a privateer. The Dorothea from St. Martin's for Honfleur, loaded with falt, taken and fent into Falmouth. A large Dutch fhip, loaded with mafts, plank, and cordage, from Riga for Breft, is taken by the happy floop, and fent into Portfmouth. A Spanish fhip, burthen 180 tons from Morlaix for Cadiz, is taken by a Jerfey privateer. A Danifh fhip loaded with falt on account of the French, is fent into Falmouth. The Happy Mary, a French brig, loaded with falt, from St. Martin's for St. Maloes, taken by the Fox privateer, and fent into Pool. The Bofcawen privateer, Capt. Labey, has taken two veffels loaded with timber for the French king's yard, and a fhip with provifions bound for Cape Breton, and brought them to Jersey.

July 5. A Grant to Thomas Lof tus, Efq; to hold a Friday market, and two fairs on the 23d of May and 13th of November, at the town of Mulaheder, near Clonard bridge, co. Meath. 6. At Claraghty co. Monaghan on the 27th of June, about fix in the evening of a very warm day, when it thundered moft violently attended with great lightening, and fhowers of hail, a noife was heard as of cannon firing at a distance, the lake in the neighbourhood feemed to boil, the fifh to rife to the furface, and one of its banks with a meadow adjoining rofe and fell furprisingly, and at laft fettled with its furface many feet lower than its former fituation or the places adjacent, apertures appeared in many places, whence flowed war m water for many hours, attended with
