Mr. President: I give notice that tomorrow or on some subsequent day I will introduce a bill for an act to amend and re-enact Section 157 of the Revised Statutes of Wyoming of 1899, relating to the "Compensation of Veterinarian, et al.Contingent Fund-Bond." MELVIN NICHOLS.

Mr. President: I give notice that tomorrow or on some subsequent day I will introduce a bill for an act to amend and re-enact Section 1781 of the Revised Statutes of Wyoming of 1899, relating to the levying of taxes and form of tax list. D. L. RUSK.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

The following bills were introduced, read first time and referred to committees as indicated:

S. F. No. 1, by Mr. Nichols-"A bill for an act to repeal Sections 2553 and 2534 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Wyoming, relating to the organization of mining districts and the filing of copies of the laws and proceedings of mining districts."

Referred to Committee No. 20, on Mines and Mineral Products, and ordered printed.

S. F. No. 2, by Mr. Nichols-"A bill for an act to repeal Section 2557 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Wyoming, relating to the regulating by mining districts of the amount of assessment work that may be done on placer mining claims." Referred to Committee No. 20, on Mines and Mineral Products, and ordered printed.

S. F. No. 3, by Mr. Nichols-"A bill for an act to amend and re-enact Sections 2553, 2555 and 2559 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Wyoming, relating to location certificates of placer claims and the filing of affidavits of assessment work." Referred to Committee No. 20, on Mines and Mineral Products, and ordered printed.

On motion of Mr. Thomas, the Senate resolved itself into a committee of the whole to consider house joint resolutions on the general file. Mr. McGill in the chair.

Upon rising the committee of the whole presented the following report:

Moved by Mr. Guernsey that the rules be suspended for the purpose of placing House Joint Resolution No. 2 and House Joint Resolution No. 4 on second and third reading and final passage.

House Joint Resolutions Nos. 2 and 4, having received an affirmative vote of a majority of all the members elected to the Senate, Mr. President declared that the same had been duly passed.

Mr. President announced the appointment of the following members of joint committees:

To examine the accounts of the State Auditor and State Treasurer as provided in H. J. R. No. 2, Mr. Rusk.

To make arrangements for visiting state institutions as provided in H. J. R. No. 4, Mr. Davis and Mr. Brittain.

Mr. Iredale asked to be excused until 10 o'clock a. m. Monday next. There being no objection, it was so ordered.

On motion of Mr. Guernsey the Senate stood in recess until 2 o'clock p. m.
