The following bills were read second time and ordered to third reading:

No. 46, by Mr. Cooper-"A bill for an act providing for the rewriting, compilation, publication and distribution of a certain pamphlet heretofore edited by the secretary of state, and commonly known as 'The State of Wyoming,' having a special reference to the resources of the state and making an appropriation therefor."

H. B. No. 123, by Mr. Reed—“A bill for an act to amend and re-enact Section 4300 of the Revised Statutes of Wyoming, 1899, regarding fees."

No. 91, by Mr. Roberts-"A bill for an act authoriz boards of county commissioners to refund the bonded indebtedness of the county which has matured, or may hereafter mature; providing the denominations of such refunding bonds, and how the same shall be sold or exchanged, and fixing a tax for the payment of the interest thereon, and the ultimate redemption thereof."

Mr. Verbryck moyed that the rules be suspended for the purpose of placing H. B. No. 123, by Mr. Reed-"A bill for an act to amend and re-enact Section 4300 of the Revised Statutes of Wyoming, 1899, regarding fees," on its third reading and final passage.

A roll call being had on the motion to suspend the rules was lost by the following vote:

The chairman of the House Enrollment Committee was announced with certain Enrolled Acts for the signature of Mr. President.

E. A. No. 33, House-"An act providing for a state geologist and prescribing the qualifications, duties and compensation of that office."

E. A. No. 34, House--"An act authorizingt he board of trustees of the State University to purchase block 155, in the city of Laramie, Albany county, Wyoming, and appropriating funds therefor."

No. 35, House-“An act providing for the removal of all state and other convicts confined within the state under conviction and sentenced to penitentiary confinement to the state penitentiary situated at or near the city of Rawlins in the county of Carbon, and making an appropriation for the ex

pense thereof; for such repairs or changes as may be necessary in said state penitentiary, and the building of such other buildings as may be necessary in connection with said state penitentiary and making a tax levy for the purpose of raising funds for the expense thereof, and for the repeal of Sections 644, 645 and 646 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Wyoming."

Mr. Davis moved that the report of the Conference Committee on H. B. No. 22, by Mr. Platt be adopted, and that the amendment proposed by said Conference Committee be concurred in.
