Proposed amendment Committee No. 1, to H. B. No. 48: Section 6. Provided that no party as attorney shall be required to go out of his county in order to respond in any manner to a hearing before any judge upon any of the matters or things mentioned herein. But if any hearing or argument is to be made before such judge orally the same shall be at the court house in the county where the action is pending, but any question may be submitted to the judge in vacation on written or printed briefs.

That Section 6 be changed to read Section 7.

CONSIDERATION OF BILLS ON GENERAL FILE. On motion of Mr. Griffin the Senate resolved itself into a Committee of the Whole for the consideration of bills on the general file.
