Balch, late Senator from Albany County, at Laramie, Sunday Feb. 3rd at 5:30 p. m., and moved that the desk of the late Senator Balch be draped in mourning the balance of the session. J. R. No. 11-Whereas, Upon learning of the death of Representative E. S. White, of Natrona County, and that his remains would be taken to Casper for interment, the management of the Colorado and Southern and Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley railroads promptly tendered to us the use of their roads and the equipment for the transportation of the body and funeral party; now, therefore, be it Resolved, By the Sixth Legislature of the State of Wyoming that we tender to these railroads our sincere thanks for their kindness and consideration and assure them that we gratefully appreciate their action; and be it further Resolved, That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the officers of the Colorado and Southern, and Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley railroads through their representatives at Cheyenne. No. 10 Be it Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Honorable Senate Concurring: Wheras, At the beginning of our session the Sixth Legislature of the State of Wyoming, determined to visit the various State Institutions of this State, and the City of Salt Lake, and the Union Pacific Railroad company, in order to facilitate our said visit, very generously furnished us transportation from Cheyenne to Ogden and return, the Oregon Short Line railroad company from Odgen to Salt Lake City and return, the Pullman Car company furnishing us with elegant sleeping coaches and attendance to supply our every wants, the Western Union Telegraph company and the Rocky Mountain Bell Telephone company granting to us the use of their lines free of charge, the Legislature of the State of Utah and the citizens of Salt Lake City, Evanston, Rock Springs, Rawlins and Laramie kindly entertaining us and feeding us upon the very best of viands, both going and returning; therefore be it Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Honorable Senate concurring, That we extend our most cordial thanks to the above named corporations, assembly and people for cordial reception and courtesies extended to the members of the Legislature and their visitors while on their trip; be it further Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be furnished to each of the above corporations, the representatives of the assembly and cities above named.
