No. 2, by Mr. Nichols-"A bill for an act to repeal Section 2557 of the Revised Stautes of the State of Wyoming, relating to the regulating by mining districts of the amount of assessment work that may be done on placer mining claims," having been read three several times was placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote:

No. 3, by Mr. Nichols "A bill for an act to amend and re-enact Sections 2553, 2555 and 2559 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Wyoming, relating to location certificates of placer claims and the filing of affidavits of assessment work, having been read three several times was placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote:

S. F. No. 21, by Mr. Guernsey-"A bill for an act to protect birds and their nests and eggs," having been read three several times was placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote:

No. 8, by Committee No. 1 on Judiciary—“A bill for an act authorizing the State Board of Land Commissioners in certain cases to reserve causes to the District Courts of the State," having been read three several times was placed on its final passage and passed by the following vote:

H. B. No. 26, by Mr. Badgette-"A bill for an act to provide for submitting to the qualified electors of the state, at the general election to be held in November, A. D. Nineteen Hundred and Two, the question of the permanent location, respectively, of the Seat of Government, the State University, the Insane Asylum, and the State Penitentiary," having been amended as follows:

Wherever the words or figures, "nineteen hundred and two, (1902)" appear in the title or the text of said H. B. No. 2, strike out the word or figure, "two (2)" and insert the word or figure "four (4)" in lieu thereof, was read third time, placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote: Roll call:

H. B. No. 41, by Mr. Breckons-"A bill for an act providing that a system of humane treatment of animals shall be taught in the Public Schools of Wyoming," having been read three several times, was placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote:

No. 15, by Mr. Butler-"A bill for an act to amend and re-enact Section 520 of the Revised Statutes of Wyoming, relating to the investment of Agricultural College Land Income Funds," having been read three several times, was placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote. No. 3, by Mr. Cooper-“A bill for an act to encourage the destruction of predatory wild animals and to provide bounties for the killing thereof and making an appropriation for the payment of such bounties; providing a penalty for making a false affidavit under the provisions of said act and for the repeal of Sections 2264, 2265 and 2266 of the Revised Statutes of Wyoming," having been read three several times was placed upon its final passage and passed by the following vote: Roll call:

And thereupon Mr. President announced that said H. B. No. 3, having received an affirmative vote of a majority of all the members elected to the Senate of the Sixth State Legislature, had duly passed the Senate.

Mr. Williams asked unanimous consent to introduce a bill at this time.

There being no objection, such consent was granted and the following bill was introduced, read first time and referred to Committee No. 8, on County Affairs and County Boundaries and ordered printed:

S. F. No. 38, by Mr. Williams-"A bill for an act to amend and reenact Section 1203 of the Revised Statutes of 1899."

Unanimous consent being given, Mr. President returned to the order of business-Bills on Second Reading- and the following bills were read second time and disposed of as indicated:

H. B. No. 44, by Mr. Jarman-"A bill for an act to amend Section 2981 of the Revised Stautes of Wyoming 1899, relating to void marriages."

Moved by Mr. McBride that further consideration of said H. B. No. 44 be indefinitely postponed.

The motion prevailed and it was so ordered.

H. B. No. 38, by Mr. Breckons-"A bill for an act to amend Section 4319 of the Revised Statues of the State of Wyoming, relating to salaries of Justices of the Peace."
