Mr Ackermann is preparing a Series of 12 Prints of the most interesting Specimens of French Gothic Cathedral Architecture; from Drawings by Mr C. Wild. To be completed in Four Numbers.

Shortly will be published, The Scripture Doctrine of Adultery and Divorce; and on the Criminal Character and Punishment of Adultery by the ancient Laws of England, and other Countries. By Mr H. V. Tebbs, of Doctors' Commons; to whom the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge in the Diocese of St David's have awarded a Premium of £.50.

Early in May will be published, a Treatise of the Principles of Bridges by Suspension; with reference to the Catenary, and exemplified by the Cable Bridge now in progress over the Strait of Menai.

A new Edition, with various Additions, enlarged Index, &c. of Lenefelder's Complete Course of Lithography; containing clear and explicit Instructions in all the different Manners and Branches of that Art. With Illustrative Drawings.

The Fourth Volume of Hindoostan, with 17 coloured Engravings, will be published on the 1st of May.

Shortly will be published by subscription, an entirely new Guide to the Theory of Music; intended to facilitate the Study, by playing a great variety of easy and very amusing Games with Musical Characters. By Mr R. M. Blagrove.

The Rev. Dionysius Lardner will short. ly publish a System of Analytic Geometry.

Capt. De C. Brooke has nearly ready for the press, a Tour through Sweden, Norway, and the Coast of the Norwegian Lapland, to the Northern Cape, in 1820. Part II. which will follow, will comprise a Residence at Hammerfest, in the lat. of 70 deg.; and a Winter's Journey through Norwegian, Russian, and Swedish Lapland, to Tornea; with numerous Portraits and Plates.
