PREFACE. THE Editor of the "Colonial Church Chronicle " begs to state that the Author of this Volume was requested by him to allow his "Diary of a Journey from Constantinople to Corfu," through countries which must always be deeply interesting to the Christian traveller, to be published in successive numbers of that periodical. These papers are now, with several additions, collected together in one Volume. The Author has presented his share of any profits which may arise from the sale to the Fund for Colonial Bishoprics, to which are paid also the profits of the "Colonial Church Chronicle." |
