THE following memorials of my brothers were written solely for our own family circle, and it was not at first intended that they should be printed, even for private circulation. I have only consented that they should be put in this form at the earnest desire of my brothers in India, who believed that there were many members of our wide connexion who would read this little home record with interest. To them, the kind Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and friends who loved my brothers, I would intrust my work; and it is my special hope that it may one day interest my young nephews, and draw them to seek the Saviour whom John and Charlie loved.
