Complete Shorter Poems

This edition contains all Milton's English poems with the exeption of Paradise Lost, together with translations and texts of all his Latin, Italian and Greek poems. Explanatory notes are included as well as headnotes for each poem summarizing the judgements and disagreements of modern critics. Abstracts are taken from some 700 articles and 70 books, published since 1968 to create these headnotes.
