A For this race Ratsbane came in first, Ruby second, Joannina third, and Tawney Owl fifth ; but the rider of Tawney Owl claimed the Stake on the ground that the first four horses went on the wrong side of a post, and after investigation ihe Stakes were awarded by the Stewards to Tawney Owl.
