AN ACT authorizing the appointment of a supreme court commissioner, to reside in the county of Otsego. Passed January 11, 1833. The People of the State of New-York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows · S 1. There shall be appointed in the manner now prescribed by law, a supreme court commissioner who shall reside in the county of Otsego, and who shall possess the powers of a supreme court commissioner, as defined and limited in the second article of the second title of the third chapter of the third part of the Revised Statutes. $ 2. This act shall be in force, and take effect immediately after its passage. CHAP. 2. AN ACT extending the time for the collecting of taxes in the town of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings. Passed January 12, 1833. The People of the State of New-York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows: 1. If the collectors of taxes of the town of Brooklyn shall renew their security in such manner as the supervisor of said town shall reasonably require, the time for the collection and making return of taxes of said town, shall be extended to the first day of Marsh next. |
