Then fhall the minifter begin the Lords prayer with a loud voice.

Let us come before his prefence with thanksgiving: and fhew our felves glad in him with pfalmes.

Then fhall follow certain pfalmes in order, as they be appointed in a table made for that purpose,except there be proper pfalmes appointed for that day. And at the end of every pfalme throughout the yeare, and likewife in the end of Benedi&us, Benedicite, Magnificat, and Nunc dimittis, shak be repeated,

Glory be to the Father, and to the Sonne, and to the holy Ghoft.

As it was in the beginning,is now,and ever fhall be, world without end, Amen,

Then shall be read two lessons diflinctly with a loud voice,that the people may heare. The firft of the old teftament, the fecond of the new, like as they be appointed in the kalender, except there be proper leffons affigned for that day: the minifter that readeth the leffons, ftanding and turning him fo, as he may best be beard of all fuch as be prefent. And before every leffon, the minifter fhall fay thas, The firft, fecond, third, or fourth chapter of Genefis, or Exodus, Matthew, Mark, or other like,as is appointed in the kalender. And in the end of every chapter, he shall fay, Here endeth fuch a chapter of fuch a book.

And (to the end the people may the better beare) in fuch places where they do fing, there fhall the leffons be fung in a plain tune, after the manner of diftin&t reading: and likewife the epiftle and gospel.

After the first leffon, fball follow Te Deum laudamus in English, daily throughout the whole yeare.
