Then fhall follow certain pfalmes in order,
as they be appointed in a table made for

cite, Magnificat, and Nunc dimittis, fhak

Then shall be read two lessons diflinctly with
a loud voice,that the people may heare. The
first of the old teftament, the second of the
new, like as they be appointed in the ka-
lender, except there be proper leffons af-
figned for that day: the minifter that read-
eth the leffons, ftanding and turning bim so,
as he may best be beard of all fuch as be
prefent. And before every leffon, the mini-
fter fhall fay thus, The firft, fecond, third,
or fourth chapter of Genefis, or Exodus,
Matthew, Mark, or other like,as is appoint-
ed in the kalender. And in the end of every
chapter, he shall fay, Here endeth fuch a
chapter of fuch a book.


Let us come before his prefence with thanksgiving: and fhew our felves glad in him with pfalmes.


For the Lord is a great God: and a great praise thee, O God: we knowledge Te Deurs King above all gods.
