EXPLANATION of the Cause of Variation between Expenditure and Grant A. B. C.-Economy in Expenditure of Grants.

EXTRA REMUNERATION. James Dowdall, Messenger and Office Keeper, received during the year, from the Vote for the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction, the sum of 151. 13s. -d. in respect of work devolving upon him on account of the temporary occupation of Rooms at 2, Kildare Place by members of the Department's Staff.

The Surplus of 31. 11s. 6d. shown on the Account of the Vote “Charitable Donations and Bequests Office, Ireland,” for the year ended 31st March 1905, has been surrendered.
