Funding shall be provided to not-for-profit organizations for operational expenses and purchase of equipment. Up to $318,700 may be used by the department to administer and coordinate grants to occupational health clinics and to develop operating standards and protocols for such clinics. In establishing such standards the department shall develop strategies for ensuring the maximization of third party revenues and the integration of existing health care providers and teaching institutions. The department 7,765,300 STATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH--Cont. shall also monitor occupation case reports from the clinics and other occupational health surveillance data for the state and will develop approaches to ensure appropriate preventive follow-up of occupational disease cases reported by the clinics.
